THE SLIPPER.- Two places of interest are to be found in Bardouville, a forestry and farming village located inside a meander of the river Seine: - The Corset-Rouge Castle, dating from the nineteenth century; - The St.Michel Church, dating from the eleventh century. We can add a third one: the "Grand Bois" (Big wood) in which stands the great "Chêne des Lacs" (Lakes oak) with its 7,10 m girth.
